1. Pick a feature: start with the Tuner to dial in your open strings, then move to Scale or Position exercises.
2. Allow microphone access when prompted. Podium runs entirely offline and never stores your recordings.
3. Play the exercise. Watch the staff for real-time feedback: green is in tune, yellow is close, red means out of tune.
4. After you finish, see your score and a detailed breakdown by note. The ribbon chart shows exactly where you drifted.
5. Use headphones for the metronome and playback — your microphone should hear only your violin.

• Tune your A string first. The tuner assumes A = 440 Hz. Adjust if your violin differs.
• Use a quiet room. Background noise confuses pitch detection. Window closed, AC off.
• Take breaks. Fatigue degrades both playing and feedback accuracy.
• Repeat the same exercise 3–4 times. One score is a snapshot. Play multiple times to see consistency.
